Position: Assistant Director
About: Bethesda Health is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON-RN) to oversee nursing neighborhoods, promote collaboration among healthcare staff, and enhance resident care. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, focusing on continuous improvement and quality resident outcomes.
Requirements: Graduate of accredited school of nursing; Bachelor’s degree in nursing or equivalent preferred; Current RN license in the state of work; Completed specialized training in infection prevention and control through accredited continuing education; Three to four years of recent nursing experience with demonstrated administrative and supervisory competency; One year of management experience preferred; Communication, organization, and planning skills required; Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time; Ability to lift heavy objects using proper techniques and assistance when necessary; Ability to transfer and move residents varying in abilities up to 200+ lbs using proper lifting techniques and assistance; Ability to push and pull equipment weighing over 40lbs using proper techniques and assistance; Manual dexterity, coordination, and skillful use of hands when working with residents and equipment; Ability to perform necessary documentation; Visual acuity; Must be able to manage a diversity of activities
