Position: Assistant Director
About: Bethesda Health is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON-RN) to provide management oversight for nursing neighborhoods, support the Director of Nursing, and collaborate with healthcare disciplines to enhance resident care. This role includes developing infection prevention programs, conducting incident investigations, and ensuring adherence to healthcare policies, all while promoting a proactive approach to improving healthcare services with a focus on safety and quality in resident care.
Requirements: Graduate of accredited school of nursing; Bachelor’s degree in nursing or equivalent preferred; Current RN license in the state of work; Specialized training in infection prevention and control; 3-4 years of recent nursing experience with administrative and supervisory competency; 1 year of management experience preferred; Communication, organization, and planning skills required; Ability to perform physical tasks like standing, walking, lifting heavy objects, transferring residents, and pushing and pulling equipment; Manual dexterity and coordination; Visual acuity; Ability to manage a diversity of activities
