Position: Assistant Deli Manager
About: Sprouts Farmers Market is a fast-growing retailer known for offering high-quality, farm-fresh produce, natural meats, and a variety of bulk goods in a friendly and customer-focused environment. They are currently looking for an Assistant Deli Manager to join their dynamic team and help customers make healthy food choices.
Requirements: Be at least 18 years of age with a preferred 2 years supervisory experience and strong knowledge of deli or related food service; Be dependable, reliable, and able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays; Have good communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment; Show outgoing and friendly behavior, positive attitude, and excellent customer interaction skills; Possess leadership abilities to build, motivate, and maintain staff, with a focus on detail, analytical and problem-solving skills; Maintain Food Safety certification and ensure adherence to health, safety, and sanitation guidelines; Have strong organization, planning skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks; Be physically capable of lifting and carrying up to 70 lbs, standing for extended periods, and operating deli equipment safely; Perform other related duties as assigned.
