Position: Assistant Cook – ONBOARD Pride of America

We’re conducting virtual interviews on September 7th to find exceptional cooks who can elevate our guests’ dining experiences as we sail through the breathtaking Hawaiian Islands on the Pride of America Cruise Ship.
Requirements: Hold a culinary school degree or equivalent training in the art of the culinary craft; Possess a minimum of one year of experience working in a high volume kitchen on a cruise ship, at a hotel, or in a fast-paced restaurant environment; Possess a strong command of the English language, both in verbal and written forms, ensuring effective communication across a diverse team; Showcasing a range of cooking techniques, including roasting, broiling, sautéing, frying, grilling, pastry baking, sauce creation, and cold food preparation; Your ability to upscale a recipe from serving 8 to catering for 64, 128, or 256 guests; Every plate is a canvas of your work; perfection in presentation and taste is a must.
