Position: Assistant Baker
About: Angel of the Winds, the World’s Friendliest Casino Resort, is seeking a detail-oriented Baker Assistant to join their team. Responsibilities include assisting in creating quality baked goods, forecasting usage, maintaining inventory, and adhering to kitchen standards. The ideal candidate must have at least 1 year of relevant baking experience and be proficient in high volume scratch baking and pastry techniques. This role requires attention to detail, punctuality, the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and strong communication skills. The Baker Assistant must also be able to lift moderately heavy items and work well both independently and as part of a team.
Requirements: Exceptional guest service skills; at least 1 year of relevant work history in baking big bulk batches; experience in high volume scratch baking, laminated doughs, cake decorating, and fine pastries; detail-oriented, punctual, reliable; ability to work in a fast-paced environment; positive, friendly, outgoing attitude; ability to work independently; strong verbal communication skills; ability to lift and move moderately heavy items; basic math skills
