About: Supervisor: Jefe de limpieza. The position of Room Attendant/Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining consistently clean and organized rooms and public areas. Room attendants must pay attention to detail and uphold the hotel’s cleaning standards, creating a warm and welcoming environment where our guests can feel confident in the cleanliness of their room.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; experience in hotel housekeeping or similar role preferred; positive and optimistic personality with a strong desire to provide excellent customer service and cleanliness to guests; ability to maintain a high level of appearance and professional behavior; demonstrate a professional sense of urgency while in rooms and public spaces; complete training in safety, alcohol, health, and security areas; follow all OSHA, state, and federal guidelines on chemicals, fires, health, and safety; adhere to key control guidelines; participate in quarterly and annual cleaning tasks as assigned; assist in new staff training; knowledge of hotel products and services; ability to communicate effectively within the housekeeping department.
