Position: Asian Restaurant General Manager – MD
About: Live! Casino and Hotel Maryland is looking for a dedicated and experienced Luk Fu General Manager to oversee the daily operations of the Luk Fu Restaurant and Luk Fu 8 (Sushi) Restaurant. The General Manager will be responsible for ensuring compliance with policies, providing exceptional guest service, monitoring food quality, leading the team with a positive attitude, and managing the outlets P&L effectively for the casino and hotel establishment.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; 4-year degree in related fields preferred; 5-7 years experience in restaurant management and supervision; ability to analyze and interpret operation results, solve complex problems, perform duties under pressure, and complete tasks accurately and timely; certification in alcohol awareness; ability to comply with state gaming regulations; proficiency in English and one or more Asiatic languages; knowledge of Pacific Rim cooking principles and Asian-related offerings; familiarity with beverage knowledge and POS systems like Micros, Aloha; understanding of sanitation laws, health regulations, OSHA regulations, and budgeting processes.
