Position: Asian Cuisine Cook- Mian (Full Time)
About: Rivers Casino Des Plaines is looking for a detail-oriented and skilled Food Prep Worker to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving food items in accordance with the restaurant guidelines, ensuring the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
Requirements: One to two years related experience is preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must possess thorough knowledge of Asian cooking (Chinese, Korean, Japanese, and Vietnamese). Commitment to excellence, high standards, and good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions. Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm. Ensures that all guests are treated in a prompt, professional and courteous manner. Must possess outstanding interpersonal communications skills to effectively interface with guests and team members. Possesses the ability to work under pressure and with a sense of urgency. Must possess a cooperative, helpful and friendly nature, and present a neat, clean, well-groomed appearance. Ability to work flexible shifts and days of the week including holidays. Understands that schedules are subject to change. Frequent walking, sitting, standing, bending, twisting, lifting, and kneeling. The Team Member must frequently lift, push, pull up to 25 pounds. Ability to work within the following conditions: wet floors, temperature extremes, and loud noise. Prior experience is preferred as well as a proven track record demonstrating sound judgment
