Position: Aria Host/ess FT
About: Saint Kate – The Arts Hotel, a modern luxury hotel with artistic flair located in Milwaukee’s Theater District, is seeking a Host/Hostess to join ARIA, an artisanal American cuisine restaurant on the hotel’s second floor. As part of Marcus Hotels & Resorts, Saint Kate serves as a creative hub inspired by music, painting, sculpture, and design, engaging a diverse audience of theater enthusiasts, food connoisseurs, and entertainment seekers.
Requirements: No prior experience required; Prior hospitality experience preferred; Ability to effectively deal with customer complaints and concerns in a friendly and positive manner; Ability to read, speak, and write the English language; Maintain a clean environment and ensure area is always organized; Ability to remember, recite, and promote a variety of menu items and multi-task; Ability to move through a crowded room to seat guests; Ability to work POS system, Open Table computer and cash handling experience preferred; Must be able to work a varied schedule to include days, evenings, weekends, holidays and the ability to work under pressure
