Position: Area Sales Manager
About: HomeTowne Studios by RedRoof is seeking an Area Sales Manager to join their team. They offer a starting salary of $62K – $68K with quarterly bonuses and allowances. HomeTowne Studios aims to provide the best quality extended stay hotel experience to guests and be the employer of choice.
Requirements: Under general direction, conduct sales activities related to selling guest rooms to build hotel occupancy and revenue; Demonstrate initiatives in finding new business and new contracts within existing accounts resulting in revenue; Build and manage relations with clients and designated accounts; Leads on-site inspections by customers, performs outside sales calls to develop leads; Analyze sales statistics with leadership to determine sales potential, inventory requirements, and sales goals; Develop a sales plan that addresses new business development, product management from sales and marketing perspectives, strategic sales alliances, and partnerships with companies; Perform all other duties as assigned. Preferably 1 year experience in extended stay hotel sales; Bachelor’s degree in hospitality or Sales and Marketing Management preferred; Experience at successfully increasing revenues and delivering results; Ability to operate independently, with minimal direction and exceptional support; Valid driver’s license required to travel within assigned area; Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
