Position: Area Operations General Manager
About: ABM Technical Solutions is seeking a General Manager, Area Operations to lead their Building & Energy Solutions business based in Tempe, AZ, overseeing branches in Tucson, Phoenix, and Las Vegas. The selected candidate will report directly to the Senior Vice President and be responsible for branch sales, operations, and profit/loss.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred; High School Diploma or GED required; MBA and/or other advanced education desirable; minimum 5 years in HVAC Service/Sales/Solutions field; minimum 5 years managing people, ideally managers of people; minimum 2 years of critical P&L focus; experience managing multi-million-dollar budgets/P&L strongly preferred; experience with conceptual sales cycle selling financially justified solutions; previous experience and knowledge of HVAC designs, maintenance, project sales, applications, and energy-saving solutions; strong leadership and team-building qualities.
