Position: Area Manager II – Little Rock, AR
About: Amazon, a global e-commerce and technology company, is seeking motivated individuals to join their WW Operations network as Area Managers. This role involves leading a team to ensure the highest levels of safety, quality, attendance, and performance in delivering customer orders accurately and on time. The Operations workflow consists of three main components: First mile, Middle mile, and Last mile, all aimed at fulfilling customer expectations. This dynamic environment offers opportunities for professional growth as new Operations sites are consistently launched each year.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; 2+ years of employee and performance management experience; 1+ years of performance metrics, process improvement, or Lean techniques experience; Experience managing a team of 20+ employees; Strong knowledge of process improvements (Lean process, Kaizen, Six Sigma); Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills; Industry experience in retail, F&B, military, manufacturing, automotive, biotech, electronics, energy, instrumentation, machinery, defense/aerospace, medical, cosmetics, production, or distribution environments
