Position: Area Manager II

Chemours is seeking an Area Manager II to join the Advanced Performance Materials operations team at the Fayetteville, NC location. This role will provide strategic guidance for the safe and cost-effective operation of Nafion(TM) manufacturing facilities, interacting directly with business and supply chain teams.
Requirements: Bachelor of Science in Engineering or applicable Manufacturing Experience; Previous direct line supervisory experience; 10 or more years of experience in operations; Prior experience in a people manager role; Demonstrated leadership abilities; Thorough process safety management skills in high hazard operations; Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills; Strong oral and written communication skills; Solid understanding of site safety procedures and corporate safety philosophy; Understanding of key environmental regulatory and permit requirements impacting the production facility; Ability to focus organization and drive results
