Position: Area Manager, Event Rigging- Las Vegas
About: Encore, a leading event production company, is seeking an Area Manager, Rigging to assist the Regional Rigging Manager in overseeing rigging operations within the assigned region. The Area Manager will be responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction, delivery, and support of rigging standards to local hotel and rigging teams. This role involves supervising Rigging Coordinators and Sr. Rigging Coordinators, supporting rigging events, providing site visit profiles, vetting rigging labor, supporting training and development, tracking revenue and profitability, and conducting regular business reviews for area stakeholders. The Area Manager reports to a Regional Rigging Manager.
Requirements: 6+ years of rigging industry experience, including at least 3 years as a Rigging Coordinator or equivalent; ETCP Arena or Theatre certification preferred; extensive knowledge of rigging equipment and CAD/Vectorworks software programs; ability to lead teams and work effectively with clients; excellent leadership and customer relationship management skills; strong written and oral communication skills
