Position: Area Manager
About: Gunnar’s Bourbon, a company in the alcohol beverage industry, is seeking an Area Manager for the state of Kansas. The Area Manager will be responsible for executing sales initiatives, managing and training a team of sales representatives and brand ambassadors, driving brand awareness, and monitoring market conditions within the territory.
Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree plus sales management experience within the alcohol beverage industry; strong understanding of the liquor distribution landscape, including on-premise and off-premise channels; excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with customers and distributors; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems; analytical skills to interpret sales data and make informed decisions; ability to work independently and is a self-starter; excellent negotiation and presentation skills; effective organizational and time management skills
