Position: Annual Giving Manager
About: Wings Over the Rockies seeks a motivated and detail-oriented Annual Giving Manager to support and increase fundraising and donor engagement efforts. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the success of the Museum’s development initiatives, including developing new donors, donor stewardship, database management, and event management. The Annual Giving Manager will work closely with the Chief Development Officer to increase development initiatives and to strengthen relationships with donors to advance the mission of Wings Over the Rockies. The position manages all aspects of the annual giving fund including growth in new donor acquisition, increasing donor retention, donor communications, and engagement strategies. The Annual Giving Manager reports to the Chief Development Officer and works closely with the Corporate Relations Manager and other inter-departmental teams including Visitor Services, Marketing, Education, etc.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience; minimum of three (3+) years’ experience in development, fundraising, or nonprofit administration preferred; extensive knowledge of Blackbaud (Altru) CRM is highly preferred; analytical skills to assess program performance and identify means for growing revenues; proficient with Microsoft Office suite, Google Workspace, and basic computer software applications; outstanding organizational and problem-solving skills with ability to prioritize and execute multiple projects on tight deadlines; strong interpersonal communication, time management, and multi-tasking abilities; excellent organizational and planning skills with strong attention to detail; ability to work collaboratively in a team environment; able to communicate professionally and sensitively with a diverse audience and wide range of individuals, communities, and organizations
