Position: Aircraft Attendant

About: The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is looking for temporary employees to work as Aircraft Attendants in Boise, ID at the National Interagency Fire Center (NIFC). An Aircraft Attendant provides ground support for a variety of aircraft arriving and departing on an aircraft parking ramp. The role involves guiding and marshaling various types of aircraft in and out of ramp parking areas, securing aircraft, and safely operating support equipment during ground operation procedures. The position may require operating, positioning, connecting, disconnecting ground support equipment, and performing minor maintenance and repairs on the equipment. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; minimum age of 18 at the time of appointment; ability to pass a physical exam prior to appointment; possession of current Red Card qualifications for Fixed Wing Parking Tender (FWPT) or Ramp Manager (RAMP) within 90 days of appointment; may require a valid state driver’s license; experience working with aircraft performing duties such as aircraft start-up, taxiing, and/or parking
