Position: Aggregate Plant Manager
About: CalPortland, a company with over 130 years of history and a significant role in the building of America, is seeking an Aggregate Plant Manager for their operations in Fillmore, CA. This position involves overseeing the aggregate production plant, mining operations, material load-out, and site facilities, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering, Geology, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or equivalent industry experience; strong mechanical aptitude; demonstrable experience in crushing, screening, washing, and stockpiling; experience in hard rock drill and blast mining operations; strong analytical, communication, organizational, and leadership skills; personnel management experience; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with mining regulations including MSHA, OSHA, Cal OSHA, and SMARA.
