Position: Advancement Associate, Events
About: The Autry Museum, located in California, is seeking an Advancement Associate to provide event services support for the Advancement Division. This role involves coordinating with colleagues to manage community partner functions, theater rentals, and corporate partner events inside the Museum and on the Museum Lawn under the supervision of the Senior Director of Corporate and Major Gifts.
Requirements: Bachelors degree in related field such as museum studies, communications/public relations, or event management; 1-3 years of Hospitality and/or Events experience preferred; excellent verbal and writing communication skills; ability to multi-task and troubleshoot under pressure; basic knowledge and interest in food and beverage, rentals, and event planning; proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and working knowledge of ALTRU software
