About: Avondale is seeking an experienced Event Coordinator to organize excellent events, responsible for every aspect from choosing venues to evaluating success. The ideal candidate must be well-organized, competent in vendor management, possess strong communication skills, attention to detail, enthusiasm, and passion for the job. The goal is to organize unforgettable events that entertain participants and facilitate the completion of business objectives.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; self-starter capable of working independently; proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe); strong analytical, decision-making, communication, and organizational skills; ability to work well in a team environment; professional behaviors; value diversity and demonstrate inclusive behavior; able to communicate clearly in English, both written and verbal; two to four years of related experience or equivalent; commitment to excellence and high standards; strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; ability to manage priorities and workflow; versatility, flexibility, and willingness to work within changing priorities with enthusiasm; ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines; strong interpersonal skills; ability to deal effectively with individuals at all organizational levels; good judgment with timely decision-making; apply work experience and knowledge to problem-solving; clear and courteous communication with stakeholders; apply business acumen and collaborative skills when resolving problems; functional computer knowledge in utilizing Microsoft Windows or other technical tools; excellent communication skills, ability to state messages clearly, explain policies and procedures in understandable language, modify communication style appropriately for the audience targeted
