Position: Account Executive III, Sales
About: The Sales Account Executive position involves generating advertising revenue by calling on established agencies, cold-calling new prospects, and convincing potential clients of the merits of television advertising. The role requires establishing credible relationships with the local business community, making sales calls on existing and prospective clients, maintaining assigned accounts, and developing new accounts. Additionally, preparing and delivering sales presentations, explaining to customers how specific advertising types can promote their products effectively, providing rate information for advertising placement, developing advertising schedules, working with clients and station personnel to create advertisements, and performing other assigned duties are part of the responsibilities for this position.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, or Mass Communications, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience; minimum one year of sales experience, preferably in the media field; valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record; experience in achieving long-range objectives and implementing related strategies; proficiency with computers, telephones, copiers, scanners, fax machines, and other office equipment.
