Requirements: Bachelors Degree from an accredited college or university; 2 years of administrative experience in the healthcare field required; Previous experience as ward clerk, unit clerk or clinical clerk desired; Familiarity with medical terminology helpful; Understand the healthcare billing process (Medicare/Medicaid); Must be proficient with Microsoft Office products (i.e. Word and Excel); Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills required; Possess leadership abilities, patience, tact and a cheerful disposition and enthusiasm; Demonstrate autonomy, organization, assertiveness, flexibility and cooperation in performing job responsibilities; Must be able to read and write English to facilitate proper communication with others; Must be licensed driver with an acceptable driving record
