About: American Furniture Warehouse is seeking a Home Furnishings Consultant Trainee to advise and guide customers in selecting home furnishings and accessories for their homes. The role offers a low-pressure, professional shopping experience, aiming to provide customers with the best values in home furnishings and accessories. Paid training is provided for all consultants, with a weekly pay guarantee of $680 and a commission pay structure.
Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent; willingness to learn about the industry, products, and customers; maintain a professional appearance and follow dress guidelines; flexible schedule to work all shifts including weekends, evenings, and holidays; adherence to company policies and procedures; ability to learn and apply new technologies; physical stamina to move up to 25 lbs. and maneuver in confined spaces; strong interpersonal, communication, and time management skills; understanding of website navigation and point of sale systems.
