Job Description

Resort Lifestyle Communities (RLC) is a leading provider of resort-style living experiences for seniors, dedicated to creating vibrant, caring communities where residents can thrive. With over 60 communities nationwide, RLC is a fast-growing, family-owned company that emphasizes a supportive leadership culture and a purpose-driven workplace. The company’s mission transcends traditional senior living as it focuses on fostering meaningful relationships and providing exceptional service guided by core values: Respect, Honesty, Kindness & Compassion, and Service Excellence. This dedication supports four essential goals that drive RLC’s success—Happy Employees, Happy Residents, Full Occupancy, and On-Budget Operations.

The Full-Time Server role at Resort Lifestyle Communities is an opportunity to contribute to a warm, engaging dining experience for senior residents. This position goes beyond serving meals; it is about creating joyful, meaningful moments every day. As part of a collaborative and servant-hearted team, the server plays an essential role in enhancing the quality of life for residents by offering attentive, compassionate service throughout breakfast and lunch hours. The position is full-time with work hours primarily from Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 2:00 pm, with some required flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays.

In this role, you will be the friendly face that residents see at the start of their day, setting a positive tone through personalized attention, thoughtful communication, and response to individual needs. Responsibilities include greeting residents, carrying trays, serving drinks and meals, explaining menu options, and anticipating needs to ensure an exceptional dining experience. Maintaining a clean and inviting dining environment is also a key aspect, involving clearing and resetting tables, cleaning the salad bar, vacuuming carpets, and other housekeeping duties that support a seamless service operation.

The server is also responsible for delivering room service meals with a positive attitude and ensuring timely tray pickups. Listening and responding with kindness to any resident feedback is an important part of maintaining the community’s caring atmosphere. The role requires a willingness to jump in and assist with other support tasks assigned by supervisors to foster a cooperative and efficient team environment.

RLC provides a comprehensive benefits package to support full-time employees, including competitive compensation, a generous $341 benefit stipend per pay period to apply toward health, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance, and disability coverage. Additional perks include access to your pay anytime, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employer match, health savings accounts, flexible spending accounts, accident and hospital indemnity coverage, and legal and identity theft protection. Working at RLC means joining a company that values its employees as much as the residents they serve, offering a resort-style environment and a chance to make a meaningful difference every day in a career that truly matters.
