Job Requirements
- 6+ months of experience working with kids or adults with special needs in California
- Ability to constantly get up and down off the floor, and move quickly
- Reliable transportation to travel to client homes and other locations
- Dependable and someone clients and their families can count on
- Tech savviness to learn data collection software and use basic office software
- Demonstrated interest in evidence-based methods based in science and proven effective
- Energetic, playful, and creative demeanor
Job Qualifications
- 6+ months of documented experience working with kids or adults with special needs
- Dependable and reliable with the ability to consistently be there for clients and their families
- Energetic, playful, and creative personality
- Ability to quickly get up and down off the floor and move quickly
- Reliable transportation to travel to client homes and different locations
- Tech-savvy with the ability to learn data collection software and basic office software
- Interest in working with evidence-based methods grounded in science and proven effectiveness
Job Duties
- Make a difference in the life of a child
- Implement individualized behavior plans and protocols designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) under their guidance
- Collect and record data on client behavior and progress
- Provide one-on-one support to clients with autism spectrum disorder
- Maintain a safe and respectful environment for clients and staff
- Help the child develop essential life skills such as motor skills, personal hygiene, daily living, potty training, and social/emotional skills
- Get up/down off floor often, move quickly
- Learn new things every day, work independently and provide the best quality care to the kids we serve
