Job Requirements

  • 6+ months of experience working with kids or adults with special needs in California
  • Ability to constantly get up and down off the floor, and move quickly
  • Reliable transportation to travel to client homes and other locations
  • Dependable and someone clients and their families can count on
  • Tech savviness to learn data collection software and use basic office software
  • Demonstrated interest in evidence-based methods based in science and proven effective
  • Energetic, playful, and creative demeanor

Job Qualifications

  • 6+ months of documented experience working with kids or adults with special needs
  • Dependable and reliable with the ability to consistently be there for clients and their families
  • Energetic, playful, and creative personality
  • Ability to quickly get up and down off the floor and move quickly
  • Reliable transportation to travel to client homes and different locations
  • Tech-savvy with the ability to learn data collection software and basic office software
  • Interest in working with evidence-based methods grounded in science and proven effectiveness

Job Duties

  • Make a difference in the life of a child
  • Implement individualized behavior plans and protocols designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) under their guidance
  • Collect and record data on client behavior and progress
  • Provide one-on-one support to clients with autism spectrum disorder
  • Maintain a safe and respectful environment for clients and staff
  • Help the child develop essential life skills such as motor skills, personal hygiene, daily living, potty training, and social/emotional skills
  • Get up/down off floor often, move quickly
  • Learn new things every day, work independently and provide the best quality care to the kids we serve
