The role of Barback is integral to the smooth operation of our bar. This position supports bartenders by ensuring the bar remains fully stocked, clean, and organized throughout service hours. It is an ideal entry-level position for individuals eager to gain hands-on experience in the bar industry and aspire to grow into a bartender role. The Barback is responsible for maintaining inventory, preparing garnishes and simple mixes, and assisting bartenders during peak times. This role demands physical stamina, attention to detail, and excellent teamwork skills. The ideal candidate will be proactive, reliable, and possess a strong work ethic to thrive in the fast-paced environment. This position offers valuable exposure to bar operations and the opportunity to develop essential skills for a successful career in hospitality.

Job Requirements

  • Ability to lift 40-60 lbs

Job Duties

  • Restock liquor, beer, wine, mixers, garnishes, and glassware
  • prepare garnishes and simple mixes
  • keep bar surfaces, floors, and equipment clean
  • retrieve and wash glassware
  • return clean glasses to stations
  • assist bartenders with orders during peak hours
  • empty trash, wipe spills, and maintain sanitation standards
  • support opening and closing procedures
  • organize inventory and store deliveries properly
