The Bar Back supports bartenders by ensuring the bar is well-stocked with liquor, beer, wine, and cocktail supplies, allowing efficient service even during peak periods. The position involves maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the bar area, preparing garnishes, refilling ice bins, and managing the physical demands such as carrying kegs and boxes safely. The Bar Back also uses their detailed knowledge of beverages to assist the team and enhance the overall guest experience. Operating the Micros POS system for processing orders adds an important operational aspect to the role.
