The Brass Tap is currently hiring for the position of bar back, with full-time and part-time opportunities available. The role is essential to maintaining the smooth operation of the bar by ensuring the bar area is properly stocked and clean, supporting the service team, and following safety and sanitation procedures. Bar backs play a key supporting role by changing beer kegs, stocking beer, wine, liquor, ice, and other bar supplies, and assisting with running drinks to tables and bussing. The hourly pay for this position is $16.90, and no formal education is required. Job Requirements

  • Minimum age 21 or older, based on applicable state and local requirements
  • Available to work weekend and holiday shifts
  • Minimum Friday, Saturday, and Sunday availability
  • Ability to balance and carry multiple food and beverage items
  • Continuous standing, bending and lifting up to 40 pounds

Job Duties

  • Stock beer, wine & liquor at the bar
  • Change out beer kegs
  • Stock ice and other bar supplies
  • Wash bar glassware
  • Run drinks to tables
  • Bus tables to clear glassware and plates
  • Keep bar station and service areas clean and organized
  • Follow safety and sanitation procedures
  • Complete duties without constant supervision
