Virginia Mason Franciscan Health brings together two award-winning health systems in Washington state – CHI Franciscan and Virginia Mason. As one integrated health system with the most patient access points in western Washington, our team includes 18,000 staff and nearly 5,000 employed physicians and affiliated providers.

CommonSpirit Health was created in early 2019 when Catholic Health Initiatives and Dignity Health came together as one ministry. In 2021, Virginia Mason Franciscan Health was born out of two health systems – CHI Franciscan and Virginia Mason. Together, we believe in the power of humankindness to heal ALL of our communities across the nation.
