Overview:

Turnberry is dedicated to creating exceptional communities that offer enduring value, authenticity of place and greater sense of belonging for those who inhabit them.

As a real estate development company which operates in the commercial, residential, and hospitality space, Turnberry has transformed economic areas across the U.S. by embracing the core principle that placemaking – above all else – is about creating community and making the whole greater than the sum of its parts.

It is with this understanding that Turnberry takes on every new challenge- building world-class luxury hotels that serve as the cultural center of an international city; curating global shopping destinations steeped with art, culture and experiences for all; and developing neighborhoods that offer one-of-a-kind luxury lifestyles while enriching the overall community with urban renewal, new economic opportunity and environmental rehabilitation.

Turnberry has to its credit the development of more than $10 billion in commercial and residential property including approximately 20 million square feet of retail space, more than 7,000 apartments and condominium units, 15 million square feet of class “A” office space and in excess of 3,000 hotel and resort rooms during the course of its history.

The company is led by Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Jackie Soffer. The organization owns and operates the Aventura Mall, Town Center Aventura, Destin Commons, JW Marriott Nashville, and an array of select services hotels like the Residence Inn by Marriott Aventura Mall and the Courtyard by Marriott Aventura. Turnberry is developing an 800-key hotel connected to the Miami Beach Convention Center with David Martin and the Terra Group. Jackie Soffer in partnership with the LeFraks is developing Solé Mia in North Miami, the 183-acre project with plans for 10 residential towers, retail and commercial space all anchored around Laguna Solé, South Florida’s first 7-acre swimmable Crystal Lagoon.
