Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum of one year relevant experience in hospitality full-service or senior living
  • ability to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing
  • capability to perform physical tasks required for food service
  • willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • ability to follow health and safety regulations
  • demonstrated good judgment and problem-solving skills

Job Qualifications

  • minimum of one year relevant experience in hospitality full-service or senior living preferred
  • ability to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing
  • good judgment problem solving and decision-making skills
  • prior experience serving seniors is an advantage
  • strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • basic food safety knowledge

Job Duties

  • prepare food items and serve food to residents within scheduled time frame
  • clean and maintain food service areas including kitchen and dining room
  • communicate effectively in English with residents and staff
  • demonstrate good judgment problem solving and decision-making skills
  • maintain high standards of hygiene and safety
  • provide friendly and respectful customer service to seniors
  • follow all health and safety regulations
