Currently, Fogo de Chao is hiring for the position of Kitchen Prep. This role is critical in maintaining the high standards that guests have come to expect from the brand. The Kitchen Prep team member is responsible for supporting the kitchen operations by preparing and presenting salad bar items, side dishes, and desserts according to precise recipes and company standards. This role requires a commitment to quality, efficiency, and cleanliness. Employees in this position ensure that all inventory, especially fresh produce, meets the highest quality standards through vigilant monitoring and proper storage management. Furthermore, they assist management by tracking expiration dates on all products to minimize waste and optimize inventory usage. Maintaining kitchen equipment and cleanliness is also a key responsibility to ensure a hygienic and safe environment. The position involves performing opening and closing duties, making it a dynamic and important role within the kitchen team.

The Kitchen Prep position at Fogo de Chao is available immediately and offers both part-time and full-time opportunities with competitive pay starting at $16.90 per hour and can rise up to $22.90 per hour depending on relevant work experience. The company supports its team members by offering comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance available for full-time hourly employees beginning the first of the month after 60 days of employment. Additional benefits include company-paid life insurance and short-term disability. There is also a voluntary benefits package that offers coverage options such as critical illness, hospital indemnity, accident coverage, permanent life, and pet insurance. Part-time team members are offered a minimum essential coverage health plan along with dental, vision, short-term disability, and life insurance which can begin as early as the first month after hire. Job Duties

  • Provides support through preparation and proper presentation of all salad bar items, side dishes and desserts according to recipe in an efficient manner
