The role of prep cook/line cook at Novo Brazil Brewery is critical in maintaining the kitchen operations that support the high standards of the brewery's culinary offerings. This position is responsible for the preparation of a wide variety of food items essential for the kitchen's daily functions. The prep cook must prepare ingredients such as vegetables, cheeses, and meats efficiently using kitchen equipment including knives, meat slicers, and ovens. Precision, speed, and adherence to food safety standards are key components of this role. The prep/line cook must also uphold strict sanitation and cleanliness standards within all kitchen areas including walk-in coolers and equipment, ensuring compliance with health regulations. This role requires someone with strong organizational skills, a positive attitude, and the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively within a busy kitchen environment. Flexibility in work hours, availability on weekends and holidays, and physical stamina to stand for long periods and handle up to 50 lbs are essential.
