Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years experience in a high volume kitchen environment
- Valid ServSafe certification or equivalent
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Strong leadership and team development skills
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- Ability to stand, bend, stoop, twist, and lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to climb stairs
- Commitment to safety and sanitation protocols
Job Qualifications
- At least 3 years high volume theater, restaurant, or entertainment venue experience
- ServSafe certification
- Local health cards as required
- Positive and coachable attitude
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong focus on guest experience
- Effective problem-solving skills
- Proven record of maintaining high standards
- Basic computer knowledge including Microsoft Office and G-Suite
- Availability to work minimum 45 hours per week including weekends and holidays
Job Duties
- Monitor inventory and report results to the General Manager
- Develop hourly teams on utilizing the inventory system
- Maintain and control food cost by ordering and receiving products properly
- Track labor and maintain budgeted staffing levels
- Interview and hire kitchen staff
- Participate in menu rollouts and team training
- Uphold safety and sanitation standards
- Maintain food quality and recipe adherence
- Conduct line checks and temperature logs
- Schedule kitchen teams using forecasting tools
- Lead communication and coaching among kitchen staff
- Conduct daily and weekly team meetings
