Job Description

Crusoe is an innovative AI infrastructure company dedicated to accelerating the abundance of energy and intelligence by vertically integrating every layer of the technology stack from electrons to tokens. Positioned at the forefront of the AI revolution, Crusoe powers some of the world's most ambitious AI workloads by creating solutions that tackle the critical power bottleneck affecting AI compute demand. The company combines expertise in energy, manufacturing, data center construction, and cloud services to build future-forward infrastructure that benefits the environment and the rapidly evolving AI industry. As a fast-growing organization, Crusoe offers a unique opportunity to work alongside a diverse team of experts engaged in one of the most meaningful technological transformations of our time.

The role of Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) Manager at Crusoe is a key leadership position based in Dallas, TX, with travel requirements to additional company locations. This full-time role centers on championing the safety culture across Data Center construction projects and ensuring operational compliance with all safety regulations. The HSE Manager will be responsible for supporting the Digital Infrastructure Group safety team by providing deep technical knowledge in safety aspects of mission-critical builds, including steel erection, electrical and mechanical safety processes. This position requires a proactive, problem-solving leader who can communicate effectively at all organizational levels, lead risk assessments, mitigate potential hazards, and foster a robust, safety-conscious environment.

Successful candidates will engage in developing concrete action plans with leadership, cultivating a comprehensive HSE culture via training and communications, conducting thorough risk assessments, enforcing compliance, and managing auditing and incident investigation processes. The role also entails collaborating with contractors, clients, and regulatory agencies to maintain transparency and accountability. The HSE Manager will ensure that all safety documentation is meticulously maintained and readily available across worksites and provide support to various operational groups as needed. This position plays a critical role in maintaining the efficiency and wellbeing of Crusoe's critical power infrastructure projects, making it a career-defining opportunity for experienced safety professionals.

This position offers a competitive compensation range of $115,000 to $143,000 annually plus bonus, including restricted stock units, comprehensive benefits, and other perks aligning with an employee-centric culture. Candidates must have at least ten years of relevant industry experience, ideally in data center construction or similarly complex operations, and possess extensive knowledge of HSE regulations at both federal and state levels. The company values strong communication skills, legal eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship, and a demonstrated ability to implement safety policies effectively. Additional qualifications, such as certifications like CSP or ASP, experience in steel erection and NFPA 70E standards, and a university degree in a related field, are advantageous. Crusoe's inclusive and equal opportunity employment philosophy ensures a diverse and welcoming workplace for all qualified applicants.
