The Senior Food & Beverage Manager role at Hotel ZaZa Dallas Uptown is a leadership position integral to upholding and enhancing these high standards. As the steward of The Dragonfly’s operations along with poolside and in-room dining services, this role demands a seasoned hospitality professional who excels in managing diverse teams and delivering top-tier service in a lively, guest-focused environment. This full-time position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $80,000 to $85,000, reflecting the expertise required to excel in this demanding yet rewarding role.

In this capacity, the Senior Food & Beverage Manager will oversee daily operations ensuring a seamless delivery of premium food and beverage services that align with the hotel’s brand standards. A critical aspect of the role involves managing inventory, ordering, and vendor relations to maintain operational efficiency and meet guest expectations consistently. This role requires collaboration with culinary, events, and other hotel departments to guarantee smooth, cohesive service across all outlets.

Leadership qualities are paramount as you will guide, train, and motivate front-of-house staff to embody the hotel’s culture of innovation, accountability, and guest satisfaction. Managing cost controls, forecasting, scheduling, payroll, and budgeting tasks are all part of the operational responsibilities to sustain the financial health and quality delivery of the services. The Senior Food & Beverage Manager is a hands-on leader, proficient in using POS systems, kitchen equipment, and inventory software, capable of working across indoor and outdoor spaces including the restaurant, pool, kitchen, and guest rooms. Physical capability to lift up to 25 lbs and a readiness to work extended hours, including weekends and holidays, are necessary given the dynamic nature of hotel operations.

Job Duties

  • Lead, train, and inspire front-of-house staff in line with Hotel ZaZa’s service standards
  • ensure smooth execution of all service—restaurant, pool, in-room dining—while maintaining quality, efficiency, and an exceptional guest experience
  • manage inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships to ensure all F&B outlets are stocked and operational
  • collaborate closely with culinary, events, and hotel departments to ensure cohesive service delivery
  • maintain strong cost controls and participate in forecasting, scheduling, payroll, and budgeting
  • oversee compliance with TABC laws and company policies, ensuring a safe and responsible environment
  • ensure the ambiance, cleanliness, and presentation of all service areas match ZaZa’s high standards
