Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management or related field preferred
- Minimum of 5 years experience in restaurant operations management
- Proven track record of financial accountability and operational excellence
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Ability to work full-time in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Food safety and alcohol service certifications
- Availability to work on-site in Chicago
- Effective collaboration and communication skills
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience in restaurant management
- Strong leadership and team development skills
- Knowledge of health, safety, and food service regulations
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial management
- Ability to innovatively develop restaurant concepts and guest experiences
- Working knowledge of pastry and/or baking is highly desired
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
Job Duties
- Lead the recruitment, development, and mentorship of all restaurant personnel
- Set the standard for a well-organized and orderly restaurant environment
- Maintain an atmosphere of positive and professional employee relations
- Maintain an unwavering dedication to an exceptional guest experience
- Oversee all daily and weekly operations including scheduling and maintenance delegation
- Ensure strict adherence to all health and safety standards and staff compliance with food safety and alcohol service certifications
- Be fully accountable for all restaurant expenses and weekly submission of profit and loss reports
- Actively participate in sales forecasting, budget planning, and labor cost management
- Maintain supplier relationships and ensure timely ordering of quality products
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef on scheduling, training, and maintenance strategy
- Contribute ideas and innovations to enhance operations and guest experience
