Job Description
The Fifty50 Restaurant Group, founded in 2008, is a well-established Chicago-based organization known for developing and managing diverse restaurant and bar concepts. Among its notable ventures are Utopian Tailgate and Professor Pizza, both situated in the vibrant Old Town neighborhood at North & Wells, adjacent to the historic Second City Theaters. The group is dedicated to delivering unique dining experiences that blend quality food and beverage with a memorable atmosphere. Utopian Tailgate stands out as a high-volume concept, especially popular during the summer months, featuring a spacious 10,000 square foot rooftop that attracts a bustling crowd. On the other hand, Professor Pizza offers a family-friendly environment that caters to lively pre-theater patrons looking for great food and conviviality. As leaders in the hospitality sector, The Fifty50 Restaurant Group emphasizes customer satisfaction and innovative dining experiences, making them a prominent player in Chicago's culinary scene.
The Restaurant and Bar Manager role is a full-time, on-site position requiring a commitment of five nights per week with each shift typically spanning 10 hours. This role is integral to the success of the group's operations, tasked with overseeing day-to-day activities to uphold exceptional standards in food and beverage service. The manager will be responsible for staff oversight, including training, scheduling coordination, and maintaining a motivated team that works cohesively to meet sales objectives. A key focus is on ensuring customer satisfaction by delivering superior service and addressing guest inquiries promptly and professionally. Alongside attractive compensation, employees enjoy benefits such as health, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and a 401k plan, which further underscore the group’s commitment to employee well-being and long-term career growth.
