Job Requirements

  • Minimum of a high school diploma
  • Three to five years in restaurant experience
  • At least three years’ management experience
  • Current ServSafe certification
  • Current Basset certification
  • Strong English communication skills
  • Proficient with Open Table
  • Experience with Aloha POS
  • Ability to manage customer relationships
  • Ability to lead and develop staff
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to analyze data and make decisions
  • Must be available to respond via cell phone when off premises

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of a high school diploma
  • Bachelor’s degree or other four-year degree preferred
  • Three to five years’ experience in a restaurant environment
  • At least three years of management experience preferred
  • Supervisory knowledge of managing a large restaurant or bar
  • Above industry average knowledge of food, beverage, and wine
  • Current ServSafe and Basset certifications
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to perform basic math including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and percentages
  • Ability to make sound business decisions
  • Ability to analyze data and draw conclusions
  • Strong computer knowledge and software learning ability
  • Proficient with Open Table
  • Experience with Aloha point of sales equipment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Organized, thorough, detail-oriented and professional

Job Duties

  • Ensure lunch and dinner service is executed to standards of service
  • Maintain excellence in service, food and beverage at all times
  • Improve and maintain customer relationships
  • Manage opening and closing procedures ensuring housekeeping and presentation standards
  • Develop relationships with current and new local customers
  • Provide positive and engaged leadership to staff
  • Recruit, lead, and develop staff to execute the restaurant philosophy
  • Respond to customer complaints and resolve them effectively
  • Promote a no-compromise attitude towards hospitality, quality, and value
  • Implement plans to improve guest experiences based on customer feedback
  • Remain available via cell phone for restaurant needs
  • Maintain safe and secure working conditions
  • Administer performance reviews for hourly staff
  • Manage employee records in POS and timekeeping systems
  • Ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, and regulations
  • Support restaurant goals to achieve volume growth and profits
