Job Description

Our company is a nationally recognized leader in the industry, known for its innovative approach and strong commitment to excellence. With multiple locations across the country, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional quality and customer experiences through a wide range of products and services. We operate within a dynamic and fast-paced environment, prioritizing strategic growth, brand development, and customer engagement. Our culture emphasizes collaboration, creativity, and career advancement, making us a preferred employer for marketing professionals who are passionate about event planning and demand generation.

The Marketing Event Coordinator role is critical to driving our Strategic Business Unit (SBU) growth and demand generation through innovative and engaging event planning combined with tactical implementation. This position entails designing and executing comprehensive marketing initiatives that educate targeted audiences, increase brand awareness, and generate high-quality leads. As the coordinator, you will manage national and regional trade shows, coordinate client education events, support grand openings, and execute engaging in-store activations. Furthermore, you will be responsible for organizing virtual experiences such as webinars and online activations to enhance digital engagement.

In this role, you will oversee sponsorship engagements to maximize brand visibility and audience connections, managing corporate sourcing stores across all SBUs to maintain availability of branded giveaways, literature, apparel, and trade show rental programs. Your responsibilities also include ensuring marketing materials align with event objectives and corporate branding, managing event budgets efficiently, and cultivating strong vendor relationships for seamless execution. Monitoring event success metrics and collaborating with internal teams to ensure marketing initiatives translate to measurable business growth are vital components of your role.

The ideal candidate for this position will have between one to five years of experience in marketing event planning, preferably within a multi-location national company. Educational qualifications such as a bachelor’s or associate degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or equivalent fields are preferred, although other relevant certifications will be considered. You should have a strong grasp of the intricacies of trade shows, client education events, sponsorship engagements, and retail activations. Sensitivity to diverse customer demographics, including people with disabilities such as wheelchair users, is essential to ensure inclusive and effective event strategies.

Proficiency in marketing data management within a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system like Salesforce is highly desirable. Advanced skills in the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, are required to manage and analyze data effectively. Being highly organized, self-driven, and capable of multitasking several projects while maintaining efficiency is crucial for success in this fast-paced position. Physical demands include the ability to perform activities such as walking, standing, kneeling, and lifting or carrying objects weighing up to 50 pounds during event setups. Participation in company safety programs and compliance with PPE guidelines is mandatory.

This full-time role offers a unique opportunity to shape and execute high-impact marketing events that drive business results and foster brand loyalty. If you are passionate about creating memorable customer experiences, skilled in event coordination, and ready to take on challenging projects that contribute to organizational growth, this position will provide a fulfilling and rewarding career path.
