Job Description
Universal Windows Direct, a division under Great Day Improvements (GDI), is a leading company specializing in home improvement products, focusing on providing innovative solutions and enhancing residential properties across diverse territories. GDI is renowned for its commitment to quality, customer satisfaction, and community engagement. The company operates multiple divisional brand offices geared toward expanding its market reach and increasing customer leads through strategic marketing initiatives. With a strong presence in the home improvement sector, Universal Windows Direct continuously seeks to build deeper connections with local communities by participating in events, shows, and other promotional activities designed to showcase their premium offerings.
This full-time remote position as a Field Marketing Event Administrator plays a vital role in supporting GDI's divisional brand offices by booking and managing event calendars. The primary focus of this role is to enable offices, especially those without an existing Events Lead Generation Manager, to generate new customer leads by identifying, negotiating, and securing participation in relevant events and home shows. The Event Administrator is responsible for handling the end-to-end process, from researching potential events and performing quality assessments to negotiating optimal terms, completing registrations, coordinating logistics, and communicating all necessary information to local offices to facilitate successful participation. With a competitive salary of $23.00 per hour, this position offers an opportunity to contribute significantly to GDI’s brand growth while working remotely.
The Field Marketing Event Administrator must excel in research, project management, negotiation, and communication, coordinating multiple schedules and budgets across regional offices. It requires proficiency in various computer-based systems such as Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Microsoft Teams, and Windows. This individual must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing deadlines effectively to secure premium booth locations in events. Attentiveness to detail extends to coordinating critical administrative requirements such as Certificates of Insurance (COI), sales and tax documentation, and approved accommodations for non-local events.
Collaboration is also essential, as the Event Administrator will work closely with senior management and the marketing team through regular meetings to ensure alignment with company objectives and event strategies. This role demands a proactive attitude and outstanding interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with event directors and internal stakeholders alike. Overall, the Field Marketing Event Administrator position is a strategic role that supports Great Day Improvements’ mission by connecting local offices with valuable outreach opportunities, driving brand visibility, and expanding the customer base in a competitive marketplace.
