Job Requirements
- Possess basic reading skills
- Have at least 1 year’s restaurant dining room experience
- Preferably have 6 months of gourmet restaurant dining room experience
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to stand and walk continuously with a tray up to 20lbs
- Ability to lift and carry 20lbs
- Ability to work in extreme heat
- Ability to stand for entire shift
- Ability to access service area when picking up beverage orders
- Ability to converse over the telephone in loud environment
- Ability to stop, bend and reach
- Have manual dexterity to write drink orders and prepare drinks
- Ability to listen and respond to visual and aural cues
- Ability to handle multiple customer demands simultaneously
- Food handlers card
- Alcohol awareness

Job Duties
- Ensure that kitchen is properly cleaned and set up before, during and after each shift
- Assist food servers, chefs and managers in accommodating guest needs and requests
- Ensure that all kitchen station supply stock is maintained to par levels
- Treat guests with courtesy and respect
- Be appropriately groomed and wear the provided uniform at all times
- Deliver all foods from the kitchen to the dining room guests
- Describe the main components of dishes upon delivery
- Have complete knowledge of products and specifications
- Assist front and back servers in keeping beverage and condiment stations supplied
- Replenish bread, butter, water, coffee and tea as needed during the meal
- Expedite food line and use Micros system
- Process guest payments and ring up food orders
- Adjust dining room tables
- Work in extreme weather conditions when required
- Assist in clearing and resetting tables
- Operate as a team member by helping others and requesting help as needed
- Perform assigned side work
- Transport used linens, china, glassware and flatware to designated locations during the meal
- Perform additional duties as requested by the front waiter or manager
- Clear tables and stack scraped dishes in dish area
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and dining room floor
