Position: Restaurant Sushi Chef

About: As a Sous Chef at Wegmans, you will focus on providing a wonderful culinary experience in an inviting, lively atmosphere. Serving as the liaison between restaurant leadership and the team of cooks, you will partner closely to create, plan, and prepare unique menu offerings. As a dynamic leader with a passion for culinary creativity, you will ensure smooth and profitable kitchen operations.

Requirements: 2 or more years’ experience as a sous chef; 2 or more years of hands-on experience in an Omakase and Japanese cuisine kitchen; Managerial/supervisory experience including interviewing, selection, disciplinary action, employee development, and team supervision; Experience in food service profit and loss management; 5 or more years of total culinary experience; Associates or bachelor’s degree in culinary arts; Diverse culinary experience working with different foods and cultures.
