Job Description
CEC Entertainment, LLC, headquartered in Irving, Texas, is a nationally recognized leader in family dining and entertainment. The company proudly operates some of the most beloved brands in the industry, including Chuck E. Cheese, Peter Piper Pizza, and Chuck’s Arcade. With nearly 600 Chuck E. Cheese locations and over 120 Peter Piper Pizza venues spread across 45 states and 18 countries, CEC creates a welcoming environment where families come to enjoy great food, fun games, and memorable celebrations. Known for hosting over half a million birthdays each year, Chuck E. Cheese offers a unique experience that combines dining, entertainment, and play, making it the ultimate destination "Where a Kid Can Be a Kid®." The company’s strong commitment to safety, innovation, and community support has earned them accolades including the “Best in STEM” award and recognition as one of America’s Greatest Workplaces in 2025. They have donated more than $24 million to schools and nonprofits, underlining their dedication to making a positive impact beyond their restaurants.
This role is for Servers at Chuck E. Cheese, a position ideal for first-time job seekers or those looking to build a rewarding career within a company that promotes from within — more than 60% of management started as cast members. The Servers are essential team members who provide excellent customer service by delivering food and ensuring a fun and safe experience for guests. This is a part-time or full-time hourly position, paying between $17.79 and $18.79 per hour, with attractive commission opportunities based on membership and Fun Pass sales. For exempt employees, commissions range from $0.50 to $10.00 per membership and $0.15 to $3.00 per Fun Pass sold, paid bi-weekly. Non-exempt employees earn between $2.00 and $8.00 per membership and $0.60 to $2.40 per Fun Pass, also paid bi-weekly.
An exciting feature of working at Chuck E. Cheese is the "Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow" program that allows employees access to their earned wages without waiting for the traditional paycheck cycle. This innovative pay approach enhances financial flexibility for team members.
Servers are cross-trained across different positions to empower them to offer the best service possible, supporting a culture of teamwork and growth. Essential job functions include lifting and carrying items up to 50 pounds, standing, bending, kneeling, reaching, pushing/pulling, walking, and squatting during shifts. The work environment is dynamic, with flashing and flickering lights, moving mechanical parts, and loud noises, requiring the ability to handle job stress and interact effectively with guests and coworkers.
CEC Entertainment emphasizes inclusivity and equal opportunity employment, welcoming applicants of diverse backgrounds and experiences. Reasonable accommodations are available for individuals with disabilities to help them perform essential job functions. The company also ensures compliance with paid sick leave and other benefits as mandated by state and local laws.
Working at Chuck E. Cheese offers many benefits designed to support the well-being and growth of employees nationwide. All employees enjoy access to telemedicine, early wage access, a 401(k) retirement plan, employee meal discounts, an Employee Assistance Program (EAP), tuition savings, scholarships, and financial relief resources. Part-time team members can enroll in fixed indemnity medical coverage, dental and vision plans, along with voluntary life and short-term disability benefits. Full-time employees averaging at least 29.5 hours per week receive comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid sick/vacation time, paid holidays (where applicable), flexible spending accounts (FSA/HSA), life and disability insurance, voluntary benefits, legal coverage, and additional support for education and student loans.
CEC Entertainment maintains rigorous health and sanitation standards to protect employees and guests, especially important in the food service and entertainment sector. The company fosters a diverse and inclusive culture that celebrates fun, play, and community connection, making it a standout employer for those passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences.
