Opening its doors in late summer 2026, this 25-room hotel is set within a beautifully preserved 1931 church, blending historic architectural charm with modern luxury. The design highlights original features such as stunning stained glass windows, soaring wood beams, and the iconic choir loft, creating an ambiance filled with both nostalgia and elegance. As part of the Casetta group, Hotel Lucile is more than just a place to stay; it is a destination offering a unique blend of hospitality, culture, and community engagement. The property will feature a renowned restaurant, bar, rooftop lounge, and pool, alongside a rotating program of art exhibits and community events, making it a hub for social and cultural interaction in the area.

We are currently building our opening team for Hotel Lucile, seeking passionate and skilled individuals to bring this exciting new venture to life. As a Server at Hotel Lucile, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional hospitality and creating unforgettable dining experiences for our guests. This position offers an hourly wage of $18.42, reflecting our commitment to valuing talent and experience in the hospitality field.

The role of Server at Hotel Lucile requires a knowledgeable, attentive, and efficient team player who embodies the highest standards of service. You will be responsible for welcoming guests warmly and guiding them through our carefully curated food, beverage, wine, cocktail, and dessert menus. Your thorough understanding of menu items and ability to make thoughtful recommendations will help create memorable moments for guests. Working closely with Hosts, Bartenders, Food Runners, Bussers, and the Culinary Team, you will ensure smooth, seamless service that upholds our Sous Sous standards of hospitality.

This position involves significant guest interaction; hence, professionalism, attention to detail, and proactive communication are key. You will monitor tables, anticipate needs, and maintain polished table appearances throughout service. Additionally, you will handle operational duties such as opening and closing tasks, restocking supplies, managing guest payments, and adhering to all safety and compliance regulations including California food safety laws, Responsible Beverage Service protocols, and OSHA requirements.
