This full-time Pharmacist position, based near Midland, TX, offers a unique opportunity for licensed Texas pharmacists to utilize their expertise in hospital inpatient settings. The role focuses on comprehensive pharmaceutical care, where the pharmacist plays a central role in integrated drug distribution. This involves accurately filling and dispensing medication orders to ensure patient safety and effective treatment outcomes. Beyond dispensing, the pharmacist is actively engaged in monitoring drug therapies, providing patient counseling, and acting as a source of drug information for healthcare teams. The position requires a proactive pharmacist who can lead and supervise pharmacy support staff, ensuring smooth and efficient pharmacy operations.

Compensation for this role ranges from $57.50 to $59.50 per hour, depending on experience, with additional benefits such as a relocation bonus and sign-on incentives. The schedule is designed as a 6pm to 6am shift, 7 days on and 7 days off, including every other weekend, offering a balance between work and personal life. This role is ideal for pharmacists with a PharmD and at least three years of hospital inpatient experience, with residency training preferred.
