Job Duties
- Conduct both short- and long-term event planning and management to ensure success
- develop and recommend comprehensive budgets, marketing plans, and objectives
- manage operations within established frameworks
- maintain or exceed budgeted sales and profitability across all event areas
- design and implement effective marketing strategies to boost event revenues
- evaluate each event opportunity to ensure optimal service delivery
- create innovative event attractions utilizing internal resources or collaborating with qualified vendors
- train, supervise, and support event staff in booking, planning, and executing banquet and catering functions
- lead a dynamic event team to cultivate long-term, value-based relationships with customers
- oversee all aspects of the event department, including sales, planning, marketing, service, and administrative procedures
- coach and guide team members to ensure adherence to company service standards and best practices
