The role of Vibrant Living Assistant within the Wellspring Village is a unique and meaningful position that plays a crucial part in enhancing the quality of life for our residents. Encouraging residents to participate actively and showcasing these vibrant moments through social media, newsletters, and other communications are also key components of the role. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience working with seniors, especially those with dementia or cognitive care needs, preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to organize and lead group activities
- Passionate about enhancing seniors' quality of life
- Active Driver's license in good standing
- Ability to utilize social media and communication tools
Job Qualifications
- You quickly connect with people and love to learn about them
- You are talented in arts such as singing, dancing, painting, poetry, history, or trivia
- You have a positive attitude and a passion for helping others
- You have an active Driver's license in good standing
- Experience in healthcare, hospitality, activities coordination, event planning, or recreation is beneficial
Job Duties
- Get to know the residents to help plan and implement spiritual, physical, intellectual, cultural and emotional programming
- Participate in activities such as games, painting, singing, and music and help organize and run these events
- Encourage residents to participate in activities and programs
- Utilize social media, email, and newsletters to showcase daily activities
- Support the enhancement of residents' quality of life through engagement
- Foster a welcoming and inclusive community for all residents
- Collaborate with team members to develop new and innovative programming
