The role offered by EMRG Media is for a full-time, on-site Event Planner & Event Sales Coordinator based in New York, NY. This position blends creative event planning with dynamic sales coordination responsibilities. The successful candidate will be instrumental in planning, coordinating, and executing a wide variety of events, managing budgets, and cultivating strong client relationships. This role requires overseeing all logistical aspects, managing timelines, and collaborating closely with internal teams and external vendors to guarantee seamless event execution. Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or related field preferred
  • 1-3 years of experience in events, hospitality, customer service, sales, or client-facing roles
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed
  • Positive, professional, and outgoing personality
  • Team player with a strong work ethic
  • Desire to build a long-term career in the events industry

Job Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of experience in events, hospitality, customer service, sales, or another client-facing role
  • Sales experience a plus
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Expertise in event planning and event management

  • Proven ability to generate leads and close deals
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency with event management tools and software is a plus
