As an independent, family-owned firm, Hermes maintains a unique business model rooted in artisanal traditions, with an emphasis on creating high-quality products made to endure the test of time. With over 310 stores in 49 countries and more than 15,000 employees worldwide, Hermes places people and sustainability at the core of its operations. The company prides itself on preserving its French production heritage through 42 workshops while cultivating a global community based on creativity, innovation, and integrity.

The Omnichannel Customer Development & Client Relations Management (CDRM) team at Hermes is a retail-facing unit committed to enhancing customer acquisition and retention by leveraging analytics, client relationship management, after-sales service, client services, and immersive customer experiences. This multifaceted team combines strategic insights and bespoke services to drive store traffic and create unique experiences that foster client loyalty and satisfaction.

Within this prestigious organization, the role of the Hospitality Events Coordinator is pivotal in elevating the client journey by managing hospitality initiatives that emphasize luxury and attention to detail. Positioned within the Client Events team, this role primarily focuses on hospitality operations, including client gifting research, seasonal treat rollouts, and continuous support to store hospitality ambassadors. The role extends to logistical support for selected retail and client regional animations, involving vendor contract management, invoice tracking, budget monitoring, and inventory oversight.

Reporting directly to the Director of Client Events, the Hospitality Events Coordinator collaborates with senior management, store teams, and external vendors to ensure seamless, refined experiences are delivered consistently at every client touchpoint. By leading research for gifting and hospitality gestures aligned with Hermes' maison standards, this role ensures every event and interaction reflects the brand’s high-touch service culture. The coordinator also maintains and updates hospitality guidelines and tools that uphold service excellence network-wide.

With an active role in budget management, event planning, and execution, the candidate will oversee vendor relations, document event outcomes, and support internal communications. Their insights into competitive trends in client experience and hospitality further assist in innovating and enhancing Hermes’ offerings. The position demands strong planning, organizational and budget skills, flexibility, and the ability to operate flawlessly under high-stress conditions.

Ideal candidates will have at least 1-2 years of relevant event planning or hospitality experience, proficiency in Microsoft Office and PowerPoint, excellent negotiation capabilities, and a strong work ethic. The role also requires flexibility for potential travel and a proactive, resourceful approach to problem-solving. The salary for this role ranges between $70,000 and $75,000 annually, commensurate with expertise and location.

Hermes supports its workforce through a comprehensive benefits package including commission and bonus incentives, medical, dental and vision insurance, life and disability coverage, paid time off including holidays and wellbeing days, paid parental leave, and a 401(k) and Roth retirement plan with company matching. Employees also have access to various voluntary benefits, employee assistance programs, and wellness resources such as fitness reimbursement and mental health apps.

This commitment to employee well-being, diversity, inclusion, and family values cements Hermes’ reputation as a Maison for All, promoting an equitable, supportive, and authentic workplace culture that encourages individual success and collective progress. Hermes of Paris is an equal opportunity employer dedicated to merit-based hiring and providing reasonable accommodations to qualified individuals with disabilities.
